Dr. Nebojša Stojković was born in 1978 in Valjevo. He completed elementary school and high school in Valjevo and graduated from the Faculty of Medicine, University of Belgrade, in 2004. He specialized in general and abdominal surgery at the same university in 2013. Dr. Stojković has been working at the General Hospital in Valjevo for 15 years.

He previously served as the head of the Abdominal Surgery Department and is currently the chief of the Operating Block with Sterilization. His surgical expertise includes treating benign and malignant conditions of the digestive tract, hepatoduodenal segment, and pancreas.

In 2018, Dr. Stojković introduced and improved new methods for treating patients with malignant diseases of the digestive tract, particularly through endoscopic, minimally invasive surgery. Dr. Stojković was recognized as a surgical expert and educator in minimally invasive surgery in the field of coloproctology in 2018. Under his leadership, the institution earned the designation of a “reference” center for surgeon education in minimally invasive coloproctology in Serbia. Additionally, he advanced the application of minimally invasive techniques in the treatment of stomach and pancreatic diseases, establishing the hospital as a leader in these innovative methods.
