Basic Laparoscopy Course
By the decision of the Health Council of Serbia, the “UEHS BASIC LAPAROSCOPY COURSE” has been accredited as a NATIONAL COURSE, CATEGORY I, awarding 12 points for LECTURERS and 6 points for PARTICIPANTS of the training program.

In a time of rapid technological progress, characterized by the application of robotic surgery and the introduction of artificial intelligence, the challenge of advancing minimally invasive surgery has never been greater.
Countries in the region have made significant strides in adopting modern trends in the field of endoscopic surgery. Progress in this field within the Republic of Serbia can only be achieved through the collaborative efforts of all colleagues practicing minimally invasive surgical methods.
We believe that UEHS is the ideal platform for further development of endoscopic surgery in our country, and we invite all colleagues to join us in collaboration.

President | Prof. Dr. Danijel Galun
Prof. Dr. Danijel Galun is a specialist in general surgery based in Belgrade, with extensive professional experience. His primary areas of expertise include hepatobiliary surgery, pancreatic surgery, and liver surgery. He is also a professor in the Department of Surgery and Anesthesiology at the Faculty of Medicine, University of Belgrade
President-elect | Prof. Dr. Miljan Ćeranić
Prof. Dr. Miljan Ćeranić is a specialist in general surgery and proctology with extensive professional experience. His primary areas of expertise include laparoscopic and traditional treatment of colon and rectal diseases. He is also a professor in the Department of Surgery and Anesthesiology at the Faculty of Medicine, University of Belgrade.
Member | Doc dr Dejan Veličković
Dr. Dejan Veličković is a specialist in general surgery and bariatric surgery with extensive professional experience in Belgrade. He actively participates in national and international congresses of importance in the field of abdominal surgery. Dr. Veličković is also the author and co-author of numerous scientific papers published in medical journals.
Member | Dr Bojan Jovanović
Dr. Bojan Jovanović is a specialist in general surgery with extensive experience working with patients in Niš. He is an expert in minimally invasive surgery and has pursued professional training both domestically and internationally. Dr. Jovanović is also the author and co-author of several scientific papers.
Member | Dr Nebojša Stojaković
Dr. Nebojša Stojković specializes in the surgical treatment of benign and malignant conditions of the digestive tract, hepatoduodenal segment, and pancreas. In 2018, he earned the title of surgical expert and educator in minimally invasive surgery within the field of coloproctology.

Dr. Srđan Mijatović is a specialist in general surgery with extensive experience in surgical procedures, particularly in laparoscopy and minimally invasive surgery. His practice involves utilizing the latest techniques in minimally invasive surgery, keeping up with modern trends in patient care.

The annual membership fee is 6,000 RSD for specialist doctors and 2,000 RSD for doctors in specialization.

By joining, you automatically gain membership in the European Association for Endoscopic Surgery (EAES), provided by UEHS. This also grants you the opportunity to apply for scholarships offered by the EAES.
