ACCREDITATION

By the decision of the Health Council of Serbia “BASIC LAPAROSCOPY COURSE UEHS” (registration number of program application A-⁠1-⁠489/⁠24), it was accredited as a NATIONAL COURSE AND CATEGORIES with 12 points for LECTURERS and 6 points for EDUCATION PARTICIPANTS.

DATE: 05 – 06 APRIL 2024 (FRIDAY AND SATURDAY)

LOCATION: EMERGENCY CENTER OF THE UNIVERSITY CLINICAL CENTER OF SERBIA (EDUCATION CENTER)

FEES: 12,000 DINARS AND 6,000 FOR ASSOCIATION MEMBERS

Master the basic skills of laparoscopic surgery through training based on repeating procedures: camera manipulation, orientation in the laparoscopic environment, eye-hand coordination, depth perception in a two-dimensional image, bimanual handling of laparoscopic instruments, correct application of clip applicators, atraumatic handling of dissector and grasper, orientation object in space.

Skills that participants will acquire: camera manipulation, hand-eye coordination, object translocation, dissector/grasper technique, cutting technique, clipping technique, stapler application technique.

12.30 – 15.30 Work on trainers with instructors (trainers with silicone models). Familiarization with instruments, orientation, tissue grasping, tissue cutting

    On December 2, 2016, the first symposium entitled “Minimally Invasive Surgery in Serbia Today” was organized by the Association of Endoscopic Surgery of Serbia, where the honorary guest and lecturer were invited by professor. Dr. Eduardo Targarona, then president of the European Association for Endoscopic Surgery-EAES.

    The main themes of the Symposium were the minimal invasive surgery in Serbia, the cross-section of the current situation and plans for further development.

    The Symposium was accredited by the Health Council of the Republic of Serbia. The symposium was attended by nineteen lecturers from the country and two foreign lecturers. The organizing committee of the Symposium was: Prof. Dr Milos Bjelovic – President of SAES, Prof. Aleksandar Simic, Ph.D. Dr. Slavko Matic, Ass. Dr. Srdjan Mijatovic, Ass. Dr Aleksandar Gluhovic and Prim dr. Goran Ivic.

    First Constituent Assembly of the Serbian Association of Endoscopic Surgeons

    First Constituent Assembly of the Serbian Association of Endoscopic Surgeons (SAES) was held on June the 7th, 2016 in the Belgrade’s hotel Crowne Plaza. Assembly was attended by more than 150 guests from Serbia, Monte Negro and Republic of Srpska, mainly surgeons with a special interest in the minimally invasive, endoscopic and laparoscopic surgery. The Serbian Ministry of Health supported the Constitution Assembly, as the state secretaries also attended the meeting. The assembly was also attended by representatives of the pharmaceutical companies active in the field of minimally invasive surgery. It was our special privilege and honour that the Assembly was attended by the Serbian pioneers in the field of endoscopic surgery, Mirko Grubor, MD and Miroslav Milicevic, MD, PhD, professor of surgery.

     

    Initiative committee consisting of Slavko Matić, MD, PhD, professor of surgery, Aleksandar Simić, MD, PhD, professor of surgery, Miloš Bjelović, MD, PhD, professor of surgery and Srdjan Mijatović, MD, assistant professor of surgery, presided over the constituent assembly and after the introduction talks and remarks, the proposition of the SAES Statute and Governing Boards was made and unanimously accepted by the assembly.
